Congratulations to James who won his age group in

Congratulations to James who won his age group in Hegra 100K, Saudi Arabia recently.

The real story happened at 21K.

James felt nauseous and was then very sick. The kind of moment where races can quietly fall apart.

Instead of reacting emotionally, he slowed down, thought clearly, took a little longer at the next aid station, and made deliberate decisions that allowed him to reset.

Calm is a performance skill.

By 70K he felt strong again and was able to push, moving confidently through a spectacular course.

Regrouping during a race is a strategy. One calm decision can save your race.
