Dr Kaz Williams, Performance Psychologist, Certified Running Coach, Speaker, Ultra runner.
Kaz is the Head Coach at Mettle, works with athletes on their mental game and delivers expert, interactive and energizing talks making her a favorite speaker with athletes and business leaders.
Kaz also shares lessons from racing ultramarathons and her podium finishes at Tahoe 200, Moab 240 and Tot Dret, Italy. She has also completed 1 loop at The Barkley Marathons and won Ouray 100-mile endurance race in Colorado.
Failing to finish a race became one of her greatest lessons.
Kaz quit an ultramarathon because she had convinced herself she wasn’t physically capable of finishing.
The minute her race number was cut, ending her race, she knew it was her mental game that had failed her. Reflecting on this experience helped her develop tools to deliver more positive race results.
With her evidence-based practice, PhD in human behavior, Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology, Kaz has studied our power to perform to the very best of our ability when in stressful situations or when faced with adversity.
Wherever you are in the world, I can help you successfully train towards your goals, boost your mental strength, and inspire you to be the best trail and ultra runner you can be.
