Dr Kaz Williams
Kaz is Head Running Coach at Mettle, helping athletes with their mental game and delivering energizing talks that inspire both athletes and business leaders.
Kaz also shares lessons from racing ultramarathons and her podium finishes at Tahoe 200, Moab 240 and Tot Dret, Italy. She has also completed 1 loop at The Barkley Marathons and won Ouray 100-mile race in Colorado.
Failing to finish a race taught Kaz her most important lesson. She quit an ultramarathon, not from fatigue, but from doubt.
The moment her race number was cut, she knew it wasn’t her legs that failed her, it was her head. From that day, she built tools to help herself, and others, stay in it, finish strong, and push beyond what they thought possible.
