What you can expect as a Mettle athlete

  1. Mettle coaching starts with a call to get to know you, where you’re at and your running ambitions. We’ll discuss how coaching works and answer any questions you have.
  2. Our packages are designed to provide you with the best coaching service to meet your athletic needs. Once you choose the package that is right for you, the price you pay is month-to-month, with a one-time set up fee of $50 for new athletes.
  3. Training weeks are Monday to Sunday. You will receive your personalized training plan on an agreed start date, delivered to you via TrainingPeaks, where you can see your training and workouts for the week ahead and track your progress.
  4. Our promise is to help you progress as an athlete; become a stronger, faster and more efficient runner; stay motivated; and show up on race day, confident in your training, mentally tough and ready to perform.

TrainingPeaks

We love working with TrainingPeaks. All our training plans are uploaded onto TrainingPeaks, which is an easy-to-use platform for planning, managing and analyizing your training data, as well as a great way for us to communicate directly.

What you need to get started

All you need is a watch with GPS capabilities to be able to connect with TrainingPeaks. Whether you sync, upload or drag and drop your training session, getting your data into your TrainingPeaks account is simple and fast.

If you have a HR monitor you can use this too…oh and shoes, you’ll need a pair of runners.

Our qualified coaches are also experienced ultra runners and have a wealth of knowledge to share when it comes to training and racing, including nutrition, kit, weather management and the awareness needed to adapt during a race.
