How much time do I need to commit to training?

The time commitment required for training varies widely based on your individual schedule, experience, and goals. Your personalized training plan will be designed around your specific lifestyle, available time, current fitness level, and objectives, while still aiming to optimize your training load for progress and performance.

Your coach will not only adjust your training to fit your time but also explain the purpose of each workout. This strategic approach ensures that the time you invest in training aligns with your personal goals and maximizes your fitness journey.

I'm not a fast runner competing for the podium. Do you coach athletes like me?

Absolutely! Many of the athletes we coach are focused on completing their race rather than competing for a top spot.

Whether you're aiming to cross the finish line of your first ultramarathon or simply to build endurance for the distance, we design a training plan that fits your unique goals, fitness level, and lifestyle.

Our coaching philosophy is about helping runners of all levels reach their personal goals, whether that's completing an ultramarathon, achieving a personal best, or enjoying the journey of long-distance running.

How do I receive my training?

All our training plans are uploaded onto TrainingPeaks, an easy-to-use platform for planning, managing and analyizing your training data, as well as a great way for us to communicate directly.

Training weeks are Monday to Sunday. You will receive your personalized training plan on an agreed start date, delivered to you via TrainingPeaks, where you can see your training and workouts for the week ahead and track your progress.

What if I already have a TrainingPeaks account?

No problem. We share a link to sign into your TrainingPeaks account that will connect you to our Coaching Account, and at no risk of you losing any of your data.

Do I need a GPS watch and heart rate monitor to start coaching with you?

A GPS watch is not required to start working with us. However, if you want to maximize your training efforts and receive the most personalized guidance possible, a GPS watch (or other tracking tools) is recommended. You can use a heart rate monitor too.

Whether you sync, upload, or drag and drop your training session, getting your data into your TrainingPeaks account is simple and fast.

Having data on your pace, distance, heart rate, and other metrics allows our coaches to fine-tune your workouts, track your progress more accurately, and give you precise feedback that can accelerate your improvement.

How do I keep in touch with my coach?

Stay connected with your Coach through regular check-ins. Your progress is our priority! Whether via TrainingPeaks, by phone, video call, text, WhatsApp or email, we’re here to support your training and racing goals every step of the way.

What if I need to move or adjust a workout at short notice?

Flexibility is key and adjusting workouts is no problem. If you need to move a session, just let us know, and we’ll reschedule accordingly. If adjustments are needed mid-session, leave us a note in TrainingPeaks - we’ve got you covered.

What happens if I get injured and need to pause training?

If you experience an injury and need to pause your training, our top priority is to support you in making a safe and healthy return to running.

Since our Coaching Packages operates on a month-to-month basis, any unused training days left in the month when you pause will be credited to your account. Once you’re ready to resume training, these credited days will roll over, extending your plan accordingly.

Just reach out to let us know about your injury and keep us updated on your recovery so we can adjust your training schedule appropriately.
